Coping w/ Coronavirus

3, 2, 1, And Exhale……..

I definitely needed a moment to breathe before I started to write this post. Upon sitting down to write this I have already started my new “Coronavirus Routine”. But more on that later…

I consider myself something of a history buff. So, yes I'm familiar with the plagues of past. The Spanish Flu was the last massive outbreak. That was almost 100 years ago. However there is no scenario I could have imagined that would have included me and my family living thru a world wide pandemic. (Insert Cardi B drop here.) Replaying how all of the Pre-quaratine mayhem took place is almost like a dream. The schools closed, then jobs, then entire states.

Now we are just here. I think we are somewhere around 35 days into self quarantining. And I'm starting to notice changes in my routine already.

  1. I'm typically up and working on projects by 8am. ( YES! if you know me personally then we both already understand that this is a miracle in itself. Amen)

  2. I always have time. ( Weird feeling. But I'm here for this one completely. My to do list are getting shorter and shorter, accomplishments list is getting longer. Hell, my credit scores have even gone up cause I had time to do a bit of research and paperwork. )

  3. I can focus better. (The world has forced us to slow down. I have actually benefited from this. I can review, revise, and redo until I get something just right.)

Yes, these are all positive things and no, this entire journey has not been all positive. There have definitely been issues and serious struggles. But I chose not to give in to those. Issues happen, period. I plan on adding several things to my daily Coronavirus Routine like exercising, painting, interior designing, and online sewing parties.

What are some at home activities you have added into your daily life?
